Responsible for performing activities associated with planning and execution of email and mobile messaging. Partner with Campaign Management to activate digital communications with a heavy emphasis on personalized and dynamic content and refined customer segments. This role with model and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including but not limited to, drafting creative briefs, testing, QA, and performance
  • Work with Digital Communications Manager (Planning and Execution) to schedule all emails
  • Work with Campaign Managers on creative briefs using industry best practices and learnings from Kroger’s email performance
  • Utilize various workflow management systems to approve and deliver all necessary assets to Digital Communications Developers for coding
  • Interface with targeting teams to ensure proper lists and validate audience size
  • Serve as ongoing resource for Campaign Managers and Creative Services to ensure optimal output and efficient processes
  • Use data and insights to evaluate effectiveness of digital communications
  • Share digital communications best practices and processes with various stakeholders

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education Requirements:

  • 1-year hands-on experience in outbound e-mail marketing
  • Must have strong workflow management experience and ability to balance multiple projects with tight timelines
  • Exceptional communication and account management skills
  • Must be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related area preferred
  • Experience working on complex email campaigns
  • Experience using marketing cloud solution (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Digital communications experience with multi-channel retailer preferred
  • Success working in fast-paced environment with ability to identify resources needed and reprioritize project tasks while meeting deadlines and goals

Below is the pay range of this position for considered candidates based on qualifications and experience.

Pay Range

$50$55 USD
