A Glimpse into Your New Role
As a Sales Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the business development team and ensuring a seamless sales process. You will work closely with the legal team, sales managers, and stakeholders to manage proposals, maintain CRM data accuracy, and support client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the contracting process, ensuring all offers, dependencies, and assumptions are accurately documented.
- Maintain and update CRM (HubSpot) with lead and sales data to ensure integrity and accuracy.
- Support the Sales Support Manager in preparing marketing materials, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Research potential leads using databases and online resources (e.g., council websites, BCI, Estimate One).
- Obtain pricing quotes (Backhaul & Security) from suppliers and stakeholders to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to book meetings, establish client relationships, and qualify leads.
- Analyze competitor and market trends to provide insights for business development strategies.
- Ensure regular follow-ups on leads in coordination with state managers.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in sales support, client management, or ICT sales.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools like HubSpot.
- Strong research and investigative skills to determine decision-makers in lead generation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, customer-focused, and team-oriented mindset.
- Experience in the construction and/or development industry is a plus.
