Summary

We are seeking a Sales Planning Lead to join our dynamic Team.  This role will be responsible for creating compelling Selling Stories through capturing Strategies & Initiatives from across our portfolio of Brands, and underpinning these with Category and Shopper Insights to amplify our Customer Value proposition.  These storyboards will drive excitement across the Commercial organization, equipping our Teams with a cohesive and compelling message-track to maximize Customer engagement.

Key stakeholders are both Internal Sales Teams and Externally with our Retailers & Distributors.  The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of CPG trends and appreciation for Consumer insights and behaviors.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Develop Sales Presentations: Create impactful sales presentations tailored to various audiences, including Retailers, Distributors, and Internal Teams, highlighting product features, benefits, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with Account Teams to understand their Retailers and Marketplace needs and the specific requirements of each presentation, ensuring alignment with overall Sales Strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Assimilate Market Research to stay updated on Industry trends, Competitor activities, and Consumer preferences, using Insights to inform presentation content.
  • Visual Design: Design visually appealing slides and materials that enhance the storytelling aspect of presentations, ensuring they are engaging and informative.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales teams on effective presentation techniques and the use of presentation tools.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from sales teams and clients to continuously improve presentation content and effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in sales presentation development, marketing, or a related role, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of CPG market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple

EDUCATION & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Advanced level written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Must be highly proficient/advanced in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; have flexible use of hands; and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This hybrid role is in office a minimum of Tuesday – Thursday. This could increase based on customer, sales and executive meetings etc.
