The Function, or purpose of the Sales Manager, LATAM is to generate organic growth in LATAM with a focus demand for 360 Energy Management Services, Renewable Certificates, and Renewable Energy Solutions.  The primary focus will be on Chile with a secondary focus on Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Peru.

This position will assume a manager role with several Kinect prospects, existing clients and subcontractors and provide critical analysis and insight which will have a high level of influence on the Director, Sales & Business Development, LATAM decisions and global sales. The Sales Manager, LATAM is a subject matter expert and will be prepared, in the future, to assume additional supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Upselling to existing Kinect clients for sites in LATAM

  • Sell to new prospective clients

  • Develop and support other Kinect employees with business development to enhance Kinect’s relevance and differentiation

  • Develop supplier, utility, and energy industry relationships to support Kinect Energy existing clients and solution creation

  • Provide the support and engagement to integrate new clients into the Kinect organization

  • Develop and support the Key Account Manager (KAM) LATAM to upsell services and products available in Latin America

  • Prospect and develop carbon management solutions for clients with renewable energy solutions such as Renewable Energy Certificates, Renewable Power Purchase Agreements and Carbon Offsets

  • Expand our commercial sales capillarity mainly in Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.   

Key requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales on the Energy and sustainability, power market.

  • Fully bilingual Spanish and English

  • Portuguese is a plus

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to work in a start up environment.

  • The ideal candidate needs to be proactive and a risk taker.

  • Able to travel up to 30% of the time within the LATAM region
