This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our Canadian Sales and Support team. You will be part of a unique program within the company which provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning. The duration of the program is expected to be 90 days.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Sales Intern will work closely with our Canadian sales team to support various sales and support activities, learn the intricacies of the sales process, and contribute to our overall business growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with Sales Activities: Support the sales team in daily activities, including building prospecting lists, lead generation tracking, and Regional Account Executive follow-ups.
- Conduct Market Research: Perform research to identify new sales opportunities and understand market trends.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Compile and analyze sales data to prepare regular reports for the sales team and management.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Participate in Canadian Sales Meetings: Attend sales meetings and training sessions to gain insights into sales strategies and techniques.
- Assist in Proposal Development: Help prepare sales proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files with teams, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants who are currently in their Junior or Senior year of college and those with previous internship or work experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
- Time Management: Able to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team Player: Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to team goals.
- Self-Motivated: Strong work ethic with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.

San Francisco Bay Area Only:
23.00 - 29.90 USD Hourly
National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:
20.00 - 26.00 USD Hourly
Regional plus NY:
18.00 - 23.40 USD Hourly
