The Team

Loqate Professional Services / Sales Engineering / Solutions Consulting / Technical Account Manager

Very simply, the Professional Services Team provides guidance and support to our clients through their journey with Loqate. We provide technical support for the Loqate business. We work directly with customers to ensure they get the most value from their time with Loqate.

The Role

This is a challenging and varied role where you will perform many technical functions including pre-sales, customer onboarding, technical account management, and implementation assistance. You will work directly with customers and partners and will also work closely with the Business Development and Customer Success teams, as well as a variety of other geographically disbursed internal teams.

What you will do

You will:

  • Use your understanding of multiple programming languages and operating systems to guide prospects and partners for optimal deployments of both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide Professional Services to the Business Development, and Customer Success, and the partner channel teams.
  • Have the knowledge to configure, implement, and support all Loqate global location intelligence solutions.
  • Confidently present your knowledge of Loqate solutions to customers and prospects, both in person and remotely.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level required; technical discipline preferred
  • Experience in global addressing/related industry in a similar consultancy/sales engineer/technical role
  • Experienced with web services and systems architecture
  • Pre-Sales experience
  • Proven track record of supporting technical delivery from inception to completion
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps desired
  • The confidence and professional credibility that come from experience
  • An independent worker, comfortable with working with a remote team, prioritizing and managing own workload, seeking out guidance and support when required
  • The ability to create, deliver, and support industry leading customer solutions
  • Takes ownership fof the delivery of project work and demonstrates best practices in terms of standards
  • Awareness of the need for urgency and the ability to motivate others to think the same
  • An excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, with the necessary confidence and gravitas to present a case enthusiastically and persuasively
  • A hands-on attitude to dive into complex problem-solving tasks when required
  • The ability to think and act quickly, particularly under pressure
  • Flexibility with reference to working hours, often to accommodate multiple time zones
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally if or when required
