What do we do?

Exoticca is a leading travel platform in Europe and North America, offering exciting, memorable, and affordable travel experiences in over 65 locations! We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven “Director of Sales” to join our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an inbound and outbound sales. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. You will report directly to the “VP of Sales & success” and be expected to have a key role in defining the company sales strategy and operations plan. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the ExCom, CEO, and COO.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Manage a team of coordinators leading the inbound and outbound.
  • Assist in development of sales department’s strategic plan.
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing, CRM, and Web to continually evaluate data and iterate on various actions to increase sessions, sales calls, booking value, and conversion rate.
  • Oversee and manage both quality and volume of new customer acquisition.
  • Coordinate daily workflow for a team of direct sales representatives,
  • Design and implement strategies and tactics to maximize conversion and revenue growth.
  • Develop and manage all outbound and inbound sales efforts.
  • Develop and lead a team to achieve goals.
  • Coordinate daily sales activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver sales forecasts.
  • Develop and oversee sales action plans.
  • Work cross-functionally with training, quality, product, IT, operations, and finance.
  • Work with WFM to prepare forecasts and agent schedules.
  • Work with QA to develop and implement a monitoring system, scorecard, CSAT metric, and agent performance management system.
  • Work with training to optimize new hire training content and refresher training.
  • Work with recruitment to maintain optimal staffing and candidate pipelines.
  • Work with training to update and refresh content as needed.
  • Scope and roll out reward and recognition schemes for the team.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a telesales executive or similar sales role.
  • 5+ of proven experience managing a contact center.
  • Experiencing in cold calling, warm calling, and initiating business.
  • Previous contact center / BPO experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • C1/C2 level English (verbal, reading, writing) required.
  • C1/C2 level Spanish (verbal, reading, writing) is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with CRM, order management, and contact management systems and practices essential.
  • Salesforce knowledge and experience highly desired.
  • Call, sales, and resource forecasting.
