Our Human Resources organization is going through an evolution to become a scalable function to enable our mission - Build a high performance culture and increase employee engagement so the business can scale to achieve intelligent and rapid growth and win with customers. In support of this evolution, we are adding a Sales Compensation Manager to our team. This role reports to the Director of Total Rewards and will work closely with existing compensation analysts while focusing on technical expertise and program execution.

Role Overview

The Sales Compensation Manager will play a crucial role in executing and maintaining eHealth HR's sales incentive programs, providing technical expertise and hands-on implementation support across different organizations and teams. This position will focus on the operational excellence of our sales compensation programs while partnering with leadership on program execution and system development.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute and manage sales compensation projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery

  • Create and maintain sophisticated compensation analysis tools and reporting frameworks

  • Support sales compensation administration, including processing, validation, and troubleshooting

  • Develop and implement robust compensation processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency

  • Partner with Sales leadership, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance and HR business partners to implement sales incentive compensation programs

  • Provide subject matter expertise input for internal systems development, leveraging industry best practices and previous system experience

  • Conduct market research, surveys, and analysis of trends to ensure plans remain competitive

  • Support the documentation and communication of sales incentive plans

  • Coordinate with stakeholders across sales and finance teams for effective program execution

  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Who you are:

  • You are an experience Sales Compensation expert with 5+ years sales compensation program experience within the insurance or healthcare industry.

  • You love data and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with advanced Excel skills

  • You have demonstrated experience with sales compensation systems and processes

  • You have strong project management and organizational skills

  • You value communication and possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • You have a natural ability to drive change through influence

  • You have a strong sense for sequencing and prioritization

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
