Position: Sales Assistant

Work Location: New York, NY, Bend OR, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.

What you will be doing:

Supports the Sales Team and Helen of Troy’s business with Amazon.com. Proactively provides merchandising assistance to launch new product and drive sales of existing items. Coordinates customer meetings and day-to-day communication to deliver results and grow our brands online.

  • Assists with the execution of online sales, merchandising and promotional strategies and provides analysis of results.

  • Proactively reviews account performance and identifies opportunities for increased sales or improved profitability.

  • maintains high levels of service and positive relationships with assigned key accounts.

  • Ensures outstanding presentation of Helen of Troy brands online by providing accurate, up-to-date product information and content to customers or their vendor portals in a timely manner.

  • Conduct regular audits of retail partner sites in collaboration with COE Team.

  • Support Amazon Advertising efforts. Assist Sales Leads, COE, Brand Marketing and external agency partners to increase sales, build brand awareness and acquire new customers profitably.

  • Be the Eyes, Ears and Voice of the customer internally at Helen of troy to help cross-functional teams understand needs, opportunities and challenges while focusing on making the best choices overall for the Brand.

  • Work with Sales Leads, RMO and cross-functional teams to solve tactical problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1+ years in related experience

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

In New York City, the standard base pay range for this role is $25.58 - $38.37 hourly. This base pay range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
