The Sales and Business Development Specialist will play a critical role in the growth of our freight brokerage business Standard Logistics Solutions as our market share expands. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new shippers, liaising with the operations team and other internal functions and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.

The role will focus on acquiring small and large shippers, with a focus on (but not limited to) flatbed FTL.

Essential Duties:

● Identify and acquire new shippers in strategic growth areas for Standard Logistics Solutions.

● Be insanely customer focused

● Establish long-lasting partnerships with shippers

● Lead business review meetings with customers, own the customer relationship

● Liaise with operations, finance and other departments to ensure alignment

● Identify new growth opportunities and liaise with team members to implement

● Perform other duties as assigned

We Require

● Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and industry specific experience

● 3+ years of experience in the Transportation Industry in a freight brokerage sales capacity.

● Advanced knowledge of flatbed FTL

● Advanced knowledge of the transportation industry

● Advanced knowledge of truck transportation rules and regulations

Annual Salary Range: 63,007-80,509
