What you’ll be doing:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development & Inside Sales Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team. This role blends the lead generation and prospecting responsibilities of a Business Development Representative (BDR) with the selling capabilities of Inside Sales, effectively making you a driving force in both generating new business leads and converting leads into sales. In this hybrid position, you’ll have the opportunity to pursue, cultivate, and expand opportunities while also achieving sales quotas.   • Lead Generation & Qualification:
    Proactively seek out new business opportunities by identifying and developing relationships with potential clients. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and cold outreach to generate sales opportunities.
  • Sales Cycle Management:
    Manage the full sales cycle for smaller, simpler deals specific to turnkey solutions, from initial outreach through to closing. Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions of larger, more complex deals.
  • Relationship Building & Client Engagement:
    Cultivate long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular follow-up and consultations.
  • Quota Achievement & Deal Closing:
    Meet and exceed sales quotas by closing smaller deals for turnkey solutions independently while nurturing leads and moving them through the sales pipeline.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
    Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Work with the team to develop strategies for targeting high-potential customers and exploring new market opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting & CRM Management:
    Utilize CRM tools to track, manage, and report on sales activities, lead progress, and results. Ensure all sales activities and client interactions are accurately documented.
  • Continuous Learning & Product Knowledge:
    Stay up to date with company offerings, industry trends, and new products/services. Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and stay competitive.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, with a focus on lead generation and closing sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and surpass sales targets in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Experience conducting cold calls and engaging with clients at various stages of the sales cycle.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or working in a SaaS professional services environment is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage clients and effectively close smaller, simpler deals.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working towards a sales target.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets for analyzing sales metrics and performance.
  • Effectively plan, prioritize, and allocate time to complete tasks efficiently

Note: Base salary range is $85,000 to $115,000. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
