The Diagnostic and Genomics Group (DGG) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and people-oriented individual to join our successful and dynamic team as a HDx (Healthcare and Diagnostics) Account Manager.

As a HDx Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales initiatives for clinical pathology and genomics reagents, instrumentation, services, and software within your designated territory. This portfolio of products includes IHC, Special Stains, Array CGH, NGS, and automation. You will leverage your stellar technical sales background to attract new customers while nurturing and expanding the existing client base. You will devise and execute innovative strategies to market complex Pathology/Genomics workflow solutions throughout the Clinical continuum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of comprehensive Pathology/Genomics workflows, including consumables, capital equipment, services, and software 
  • Identify and close new business opportunities in existing and new accounts.
  • Maintain and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities in CRM, providing precise monthly sales forecasts and territory narratives.
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan to boost market share and achieve sales targets.
  • Work with Market Specialists and Field Marketing teams to coordinate and promote regional events (e.g., workshops, seminars).
  • Conduct product presentations and instrument demonstrations
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to aid in the ongoing development of cutting-edge products.
  • Stay abreast of Pathology & Genomics applications in Healthcare Diagnostics, Molecular, and
  • Companion Diagnostics, identifying trends that influence purchasing decisions.
     

For this role, you will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites across either southern or northern Netherlands (according to your location) -  a company car will be available to you.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: University Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge in Cancer Diagnostics or the Clinical Genomics space.
  •  Sales Experience:  strong commercial experience in selling Pathology or Genomics reagent portfolios and capital equipment in clinical pathology, molecular pathology, or genetics is a plus.
  • IVD Sales: Experience selling In Vitro Diagnostics (IVDs) to hospitals and/or reference laboratories is desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Dutch (native).

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
