SUMMARY: The position holder will work in a live production research facility to become familiar with the various parts of the production and research process. Our Interns are expected to contribute to our success through innovative ideas and value creation. Based on successful performance and the talent needs of our business, Interns may have the opportunity to become full-time Tyson Team Members.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university with at least one year of school remaining. Students seeking a degree in Poultry Operations, Agriculture Business or other agriculture-related field are preferred.
Experience: Previous work experience of any kind is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills; time management and multitasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills. Able to life 50+ lbs.
