Position: Roll Racker
Shift: 2nd- 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday-Friday *overtime and Saturdays may be required.  Some training will be on first shift but then moved to second shift.
Wage: $18.74+ $0.75 shift premium for 2nd shift.  Wage could be up to $20.67 based on skills and experience.

Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, as a Roll Racker, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee.

What you will be doing:

  • Supply paper board roll stock to production machines, empty scrap buggies and operate baler. Gather bundle and stack fiberboard partitions and check glue.
  • Cut damaged sections from rolls and apply adhesives to the sides of the rolls with a spray gun.
  • Operate electrical hoists.
  • Will perform production work functions when needed.

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • Can push rolls weighting up to 30 lbs.
  • Work safely and orderly and keep the work area clean.
  • Able to read measuring tape and count accurately.
  • Can utility knives, plastic strapping, broom, air hose, tape guns and shredders to complete tasks. Will use a spray gun for gripping rolls.
  • Work well with other employees and have good communication skills.
