Job Responsibilities:
General Job Duties:

• Meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of
Decostar.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals and expectations as defined within
your department work procedures.
Specific Job Duties:
• Follow all Decostar Industries health and safety policies and procedures that
provide for a safe and healthful workplace for all Decostar Industries
employees, contractors and visitors.
• Attend all job and safety related training as required.
• Do not operate any equipment, machinery or perform any job task unless you
have competed documented training
• Participate in all accident investigations, internal inspections or audits or
those conducted by any regulatory agency.
• Do not modify or by-pass any safety-related systems on any equipment or
machinery.
• Immediately report any unsafe conditions or unsafe behaviors to your Team
Leader, Supervisor or the Department Manager.
• Immediately report any accidents, incidents or near-misses to your Team
Leader, Supervisor Department Manager or the Safety Department.
• Complete pre-operational safety checklists prior to operating any equipment
or machinery
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities to ensure
meeting of departmental performance objectives.
• Prepare records of receipt of incoming material and equipment and posts to
open order of suppliers. Verify receiving receipts with open orders and actual
quantities delivered and assure compliance with purchase order terms.
Identify and report shortages, damaged goods or other discrepancies. Advise
appropriate departments when required to pick up goods. Prepare records of
items returned to suppliers for replacement or credit.
• Establish and maintain auditable records of all receipts or shipments.
• Input and retrieve data from the computer needed to record, update and/or
monitor receipts, shipments, dispositions, or other supplier/customer
information required to support operational excellence.
• Assist with truck loading or unloading operations which will require driving a
forklift.
• Follow good housekeeping practices within the receiving and shipping areas
by maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
• Follow standard operating procedures as outlined in Decostar ISO system for
receiving and shipping goods.
• Coordinate and arrange trucking in a timely fashion for all goods being
shipped from Decostar.
• Prepare records of shipments and bills of lading and/or dray tickets.
Responsible for the accuracy of shipping documents and goods on trucks.
• Coordinate and complete physical inventories and cycle counts as scheduled.
Reconcile variances and assist in the corrective actions to prevent future
discrepancies.
• Communicate and prepare management reports for key operating indicators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate a forklift truck.
Education:
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively along with basic
mathematical skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
