As an experienced professional in RSM’s Risk Consulting service line, you will have the opportunity to support projects and operational programs of the Quality and Methodology team, whose mission is to provide RC enterprise-level direction and coordination on methodology, training, and knowledge management development efforts, with the vision of maximizing return on initiatives to elevate talent experiences and enable quality service delivery to clients. In this capacity the RC Quality and Methodology Operations Supervisor will provide support with planning, coordination and execution of meetings and other operational activities. Responsibilities:
 

  • Partner strategically with assigned internal clients (consisting of various internal organizations including Talent Development & Management, RC Operations, Enterprise IT, HR, Office of Risk Management, and National Professional Standards Group). Coordinate project management and assistance in the execution of complex short and long-term projects, simultaneously. • • Partner with multiple groups and structures across the organization to collaborate on the best productive outcome.

  • Assist with uploading and/or organizing documents in SharePoint or other document management sites.

  • Generate and execute project plans effectively utilizing project management tools including Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel. Significant organization and project management experience is required.

  • In conjunction with RC Quality and Methodology leadership, support the definition of project scope and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Support leadership to manage project objectives, schedule, resources and deliverables.

  • Develop and execute communication plans to routinely provide the appropriate stakeholders with the status of projects and key initiatives.

  • Draft written communications and reports which may include distribution to internal and external parties.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Facilitate organizational change management planning and support for the execution of new projects and programs.

  • Operate in a self-directed manner, identifying and addressing risk mitigation, process improvement, and support needs affecting the successful delivery of projects.

  • Working with RC Quality and Methodology leadership to support response to and resolution of troubled initiatives on an as-needed basis

  • Support ongoing operations reporting efforts, including qualitative and quantitative metrics around Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

  • Provide assistance for time-sensitive and proprietary tasks for leadership team members as requested.

  • Work with leadership to coordinate communication, and support needs affecting the successful execution of leadership and operational activities.

  • Edit and / or print meeting documents and agendas, provide assistance with document meeting outcomes, and follow up on related action items.

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related area or equivalent experience

  • Experience leading or coordinating large, significant team projects

  • Understanding of RC services, including internal control testing.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and demonstrated experience with project management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems or equivalent degree

  • CPA or CISA Certification or regional equivalent

  • Current or recent experience in a consulting environment, preferably with experience in Risk Consulting and internal controls projects

  • PMP Certification   

  • Advanced data visualization skills and demonstrated experience with related software, such as PowerBI
