As a Workover Rig Supervisor, you will work on Completions, Workovers, and P&As (Plug & Abandon) under the guidance of the Production Lead. In this role, you'll oversee the safety, efficiency, and cost of workover and P&A activities for one or more rigs/leads within an asset area. You'll also manage between five to twenty vendors/contractors, depending on job scheduling and the time of year. This position involves making crucial decisions at the wellsite that can significantly impact the company both financially and in terms of safety and culture.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Maintains a strong on-site presence to monitor and guide performance, acting as the primary point of contact for vendors and coordinating the scheduling and delivery of required services for wellsite operations
- Conducts regular performance evaluations of vendors to ensure that services meet the required standards and contribute to operational efficiency
- Performs continuous audits of rigs, equipment, and services to ensure compliance with safety standards, including Control of Work (CoW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Blowout Preventer (BOP) drills
- Identifies and address any discrepancies or issues to maintain a safe and compliant working environment, leading Job Safety Analysis (JSA) sessions to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies
- Communicates identified risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure employee safety, providing feedback to management on vendor performance
- Collaborates with management to implement corrective actions or improvements based on vendor performance reviews
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of ten (10) years of Workover Completions/Rig experience in supervisory role
- Preferred: At least fifteen (15) years of Workover Completions/rig experience in supervisory role
Other Requirements:
- At least four (4) years of Plug and Abandonment (P&A) experience
- At least five (5) years of state and/or federal regulatory compliance experience
Physical and Environment Work Requirements:
Must be willing to:
- Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
- Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
- Use hand tools
Other Requirements:
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Demonstrates excellent project management/organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Needs broad knowledge of workover, fishing, and coiled tubing operations, and engineering practices
