Job Description
The Reverse Logistics Specialist is responsible for collaborating with customers and vendors to resolve transport delivery issues and providing support to customers. for performing logistics support activities such as but not limited to accreditation and evaluation of service providers, service agreements / contracts management, claims management and freight cost management ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of services.
He/She is responsible for identifying process improvement to increase productivity and improve quality and internal and external customer satisfaction .
Scope:

Transaction of trucks, vans, vessel shipment of goods and raw materials for claims

Damages to properties like warehouse damage

Both side of claims, process of claims to service providers & from provider filed claims to pilmico
Any role with SAP access:
-
Ensure the accurate and real-time execution of tasks related to the process/es they are responsible for, including the recording of information and report generation in the designated forms and platforms (e.g. SAP)

Integrate with other parties/ functions whose processes are interfaced with their processes (to enable alignment, efficient flow of the process, and effective implementation of controls)

Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Process accreditation of new service providers and ensures compliance to accreditation requirements
-
Monitors and reviews validity of service agreements and/or contracts, permits and licenses
-
Maintains updated service provider database
-
Ensure to perform regular service provider performance evaluation
-
Handles complaints related to claims process, coordinates with Salesforce Team
-
Initiates investigation of delivery / shipment incident and submit assessment report on-time
-
Prepare and process claims against service providers on cargo damaged incidents and /or coordinates with the Risk Team for insurance claims

Ensure to monitor claims receivable and payment settlement coordinates
-
Checks and validates freight billing against shipment
-
Initiate freight cost review and identify alternatives to optimize freight cost
-
Handles logistics related projects that result in improved quality and customer satisfaction

Handles investigation and closure of complaints related to damaged/discrepancy of goods and raw materials and damage to property

Coordinates with the Risk Team for any transactions related to processing of insurance
Other Tasks:

Maintains files of logistics documents and records in compliance to the quality management standards

Ensures compliance to food safety and quality standards set by HACCP, GMP & ISO

Performs other related activities that may be assigned by immediate superior
Food Safety:
-
Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company

Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities
Other Tasks:

Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc

Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior
Qualifications
Education:
-
Graduate of any 4 year business related course
Experience:
-
At least 6 months work experience in logistics / supply chain or equivalent

Proficient in computerized systems and applications.
