Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to support both advertising and consumer marketing operations on our website. This cross-functional role is responsible for trafficking and optimizing campaigns in Google Ad Manager (GAM) and Piano/Zephr, ensuring strong performance across all revenue-driving initiatives. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, highly organized, and experienced in both ad tech and subscription platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end campaign trafficking and execution across Google Ad Manager and Piano/Zephr, ensuring accurate setup and delivery.
  • Support both advertising and subscription revenue efforts by working across sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Monitor campaign delivery, pacing, and performance; proactively troubleshoot issues and optimize results.
  • Implement and manage header bidding integrations using js.
  • Maintain and evolve programmatic monetization setups, including Open Auction, PMPs, and Programmatic Guaranteed
  • Collaborate with consumer marketing teams to implement, track, and optimize subscription journeys via platforms like Piano and Zephr.
  • Participate in QA testing of new site features and products to ensure minimal ad impact and proper tracking of user journeys.
  • Manage campaign and task workflows using ticketing platforms like JIRA, ClickUp, or Trello.
  • Deliver regular reporting and actionable insights to key stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product.
  • Contribute to ongoing revenue product development and support testing of new monetization strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital ad operations, preferably at a publisher or media company
  • Strong proficiency in Google Ad Manager (GAM) and programmatic advertising platforms
  • Familiarity with subscription management platforms like Piano.IO and Zephr
  • Hands-on experience with Prebid.js and header bidding strategy
  • Comfort working with ticketing platforms and project management tools
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, cookies/local storage, etc.) a plus

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
  • Exposure to CDPs, DMPs, or identity resolution tools
  • A passion for media, news, and the evolving digital publishing landscape

The pay range for this full-time position is $60,000- $85,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and other factors. The Daily Beast is a globally recognized publication at IAC with our headquarters in New York City.
