About the team
Alloy is seeking a Deal Desk Manager to support our field team on new business, expansion, and renewal opportunities. The Revenue Operations function is crucial to the success and scalability of our GTM team. In this role, you would serve as the primary point of contact for deal-related inquiries, escalations, and approvals, and help the field team in creative deal structuring and negotiations to close deals.
Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite twice a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee the deal desk process, ensuring efficient response SLAs and approvals
- Partner with sales teams to structure and approve complex deals that align with business objectives and comply with company policies.
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing, discounting, and contract terms to optimize deal profitability and competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain deal desk policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company guidelines
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to resolve deal-related issues and escalate complex deals as needed
- Streamline the deal approval process to reduce cycle times and improve sales velocity
- Administer and maintain deal desk documentation and ensure data accuracy and integrity in systems
- Enable sales and supporting team members on deal desk processes and best practices
- Analyze deal desk metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Manage and analyze deal economics and proposal acceptance trends; identify opportunities to improve deal structures, strategies, and processes based on market and historical data
- Drive deal desk meeting cadence, including deal desk office hours and other preparation forums
- Develop and implement pricing and packaging strategies
Who we’re looking for
- 4+ years of experience in revenue/customer success strategy and operations or equivalent role at a high growth SaaS company; bonus if you have experience in management consulting or banking as well
- Strong understanding of contract structuring, playbook creation, and approval processes
- Proven ability to own and run complex deals end-to-end, encompassing commercials, legal, security and finance.
- Solid understanding of SaaS business models and subscription pricing/management.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes as they relate to SaaS, including billing, invoicing, revenue recognition.
- Excellent first principles thinking skills
- Strong analytical skills; ability to thoughtfully structure analyses, answer key business questions, and drive decision making
- Experience in fast-paced environments and be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving startup or hyper-growth environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with Salesforce and contract management systems (e.g. Ironclad)

This position has a salary range of $133,000 to $157,000. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and region. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs).
