Summary:

The Billing Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate billing, reporting, and business controlling of manually billed products. This role focuses on safeguarding and maximizing company revenues by managing airline-related products that require manual billing due to technical constraints. The position involves close collaboration with delivery teams, reporting managers, and product managers to streamline billing processes and meet organizational objectives.

In this role you will:

  • Facilitate monthly information collection from relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of contractual commitments in alignment with deadlines and KPIs.
  • Define, review, and validate billing requirements under management supervision.
  • Manage and process accrual information for products under your responsibility.
  • Support cross-team meetings to streamline the collection of relevant billing information.
  • Follow internal controls to prevent revenue leakage and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Ensure the timely completion of monthly billing activities and adherence to month-end deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve invoicing discrepancies, such as discounts, waivers, and contractual issues, with appropriate approvals.
  • Conduct monthly billing comparison analyses for assigned products.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate on projects within the services area, providing input as required.

About the ideal candidate:

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar position, with exposure to stakeholder interactions.
  • Financial background with knowledge of accounting concepts, including revenues and invoice issuance.
  • Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SAP 4HANA is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; advanced Spanish proficiency is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple billing activities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address billing discrepancies.
