Revenue & AR Senior Accountant

 Essential Duties:

As the Revenue & AR Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of our corporate accounting team, responsible for assisting in all Revenue & AR Recognition across our global operations.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of an emerging growth company while leveraging your expertise in Revenue & AR accounting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Support the Revenue and AR recognition process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate Revenue Recognition and AR accounting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, including monthly close procedures, with a firm understanding of the revenue recognition standards.

• Preparation of Key Deliverables including:
  • Revenue & Billing Workbooks
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Customer Specific Summaries & Analysis
  • Relevant Month and Quarter End Financial Commentary

• Assist in managing the development, implementation, and adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls relating to Revenue and AR accounting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
• Work closely with Business Development/Commercial Operations teams to ensure early engagement and communication on new contracts, amendments, and invoicing issues.
• Work closely with external auditors, preparing and providing necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth and timely audit process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to monitor and manage customer budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
• Participate in the design and implementation of financial systems and tools to drive continuous improvement in Revenue and AR accounting processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with Oracle ERP system a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to non-accounting colleagues.
