The opportunity

The Research Associate, reporting to the Research Associate Manager, will conduct research and provide support to Staff Writers, Content Producers, Associate Directors of Content, and the Director of Content. Key responsibilities include researching product pricing, fact-checking data and statistics, and writing concise synopses.

Employment Level : Entry Level

Employment Type: Full-time, 40 Hours a week 

Location: Philippines 

Working Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Philippine Time 


What you'll do

  • Conduct impactful research: Provide well-sourced insights that elevate article quality and maintain accurate databases
  • Collaborate with partners: Verify pricing and features with service providers to keep our content reliable and up-to-date
  • Create engaging content: Assist in developing multimedia elements like screencasts, images, and templates to enhance articles
  • Boost content authority: Identify key statistics and trusted sources that make our articles more authoritative and citable
  • Conduct competitor research: Analyze search engine results (SERPs) to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors
  • Keep content fresh: Suggest updates, including new product reviews and timely additions, to ensure our articles stay relevant
  • Develop interactive tools: Build and implement tailored quizzes on WordPress to enhance reader engagement
  • Support and maintain: Regularly update data hubs and assist with quick WordPress updates, ensuring content stays accurate and well-maintained
  • Main Tools used: Slack, Google Suite, WordPress, YouTube, monday.com 


Who you are

  • Strong grammar, spelling, and communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Proven ability to find reliable, citable sources, with past experience in editorial support or online research
  • Strong attention to detail with experience managing and updating rubrics/databases, and the ability to learn and grow into consistently completing 5-7 rubrics per week
  • Skilled at working with teams, openly sharing ideas and feedback to achieve shared goals
  • Basic understanding of SEO and a passion for maintaining efficient workflows without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to manage time and tasks autonomously, staying motivated and delivering results with minimal supervision
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress, YouTube content management, and experience with monday.com are preferred, but a strong desire to learn these tools is essential for success in this role
  • Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Monthly Pay Range

₱35,000₱41,600 PHP
