What you'll do
We are looking for a Renewal Specialist who could work for approximately 13 months (may extend the contract depending on the situation).
- Renewal Management: Proactively manage and execute the renewal process for customer subscriptions and service agreements.
- Customer Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring they understand the value of our products and services.
- Retention & Upselling: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to drive additional revenue.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Track and report renewal performance metrics, including renewal rates, churn risk, and revenue trends.
- Collaboration: Partner with customer success, sales, and finance teams to ensure smooth renewals and address customer concerns.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate by identifying pain points and working with internal teams to improve the customer experience.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience: 3-10 years of experience in renewals, account management, sales, or customer success, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong ability to communicate value, negotiate contract terms, and resolve customer concerns.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for customer success and a track record of building positive relationships.
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and take a strategic approach to renewals.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM and renewal management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hendrix, Gainsight, or similar).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
The position requires a proactive and customer-centric approach to ensure successful contract renewals and maintain positive customer relationships.
