About Us:
EDF Renewables, established in South Africa in 2011, is a locally based, fully integrated independent power producer (IPP) that develops, finances, builds, owns, and operates commercial renewable energy generation facilities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Backed by EDF Renouvelables, the renewable energy arm of global utility EDF, we manage 140 MW across four operational wind farms and a development portfolio exceeding 3 GW of wind, solar, and battery projects.
Main Purpose of the Role:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to cutting-edge renewable energy projects across Africa. As an intern, you will provide engineering support in project development, energy yield assessments, design, contract management, procurement, bid preparations, and asset management. The role comes with valuable training and mentorship from senior staff.

Requirements:
- A degree in an Engineering or Science field (BEng, BSc, or equivalent)
