Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Select, develop and retain top sales talent in support of regional sales objectives, provide timely coaching and feedback to drive performance results and reinforce key principles of effective Territory Management and consultative selling techniques.
- Work with Global Senior Sales Manager (where applicable) and Director, Industry Sales to develop and implement strategic plans and tactics that translate into meeting agreed upon industry and territory sales objectives, including specific target dates and accountabilities.
- Ensure coverage of customer base implementing territory management models inclusive of Outside Sales, Inside Sales, Channel Partners and cross functional resources where appropriate.
- Manage and grow regional account base to achieve, revenue, profitability and share gain targets aligned with corporate, industry and product line business plans.
- Maintain high level contacts within the industry to promote Greene, Tweed technology and capabilities, creating customer demand.
- Deliver accurate regional sales forecast in support of strategic business planning process. Communicate deviations from plan in a timely manner to Global Senior Sales Manager (where applicable), Director Industry Sales, and cross functional teams, ensuring appropriate operation response to meet market demand.
- Participate in sales negotiations, as appropriate.
- Conduct regular one on one and regional team meetings to asses performance to plan and deliver appropriate ongoing coaching to drive employee development and success
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or comparable experience; Master’s degree preferred
Skills and Experience:
- 7 to 10 years of proven consultative or solution based commercial experience, with demonstrated leadership capabilities, including people development/coaching, objective setting and performance management skills
- Technical Knowledge - Must have the capability to understand the technical applications of our products and represent products positively.
- Ability to manage effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilize high performance teams
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including the delegation of tasks and holding others accountable
- Proven ability to translate market trends into sales forecast
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Cultural knowledge, cognizance and understanding of acceptable behavioral practices and cultural differences in the business and social environment.
- Ability to travel 50-70% of time (domestic and international)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
