This role
You will contribute to the mission of delivering consumer finance at scale. One of the many reasons PayJoy develops innovative products is because of the collaborative work of our teams that enable consumer finance in emerging markets. This person will help drive the growth of PayJoy’s innovative smartphone service in the Philippines market.
You will build on the success of PayJoy’s phone financing business to meet ambitious growth goals. You will work with teams across the company as well as external partners to ensure a successful operation. You are dynamic, results-driven, and enjoy a high-change environment.
The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for ensuring that the Open Channel Market in the Cebu region undergoes continued growth (expansion, sales, and revenue) by leading the hunting and farming of new Admins and Merchants. You will be the main point of contact for our retail partners within the given region. You will be sure that all PayJoy Sales Clerks, including Brand Ambassadors, are adequately trained, activated, and the stores in which they are deployed are reaching their sales targets and other KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Leading the Open Channel market expansion by conducting field work to sign, onboard and activate new partners.
- Develop new and existing partnerships with retail partners to increase business results.
- Continuous training of all Sales Clerks on how to sell with PayJoy.
- Monitoring and managing PayJoy Brand Ambassadors to ensure successful daily deployments and operations.
- Oversee and assess a team of Open Channel sales representatives, and provide them with regular performance-related feedback to ensure sales goals are met.
- Achieve regional sales targets and meet store activation targets.
- Analyze, recognize and execute potential growth opportunities in the market.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience with account management/trade marketing. Preferably working with mobile, consumer electronics, or financial products.
- Previous experience in a supervising/manager role.
- Experience in training and onboarding new commercial partners.
- Previous field training experience.
- Strong analytical, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well individually, within a cross functional team, and to travel.
- Demonstrated ability to work under high changing and pressure situations.
- English required.
Desired Requirements
- Knowledge on using GSuite and Microsoft office tools.
- Local vernacular to be considered a plus.
