Location: Ideal Candidate in the Greater Toronto Area.

Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Leader will lead a sales team in Ontario and be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, recruiting and training sales representatives, analyzing market trends, and building strong customer relationships within their designated area, leading the sales efforts to maximize market penetration and profitability in that region.

In-person customer contact will comprise a major portion of this position, requiring sales and technical knowledge to lead customer business outcome discussions to advance the sales process. Must be able to lead a regional team with direct and indirect reports (SEs, Marketing, Channel) and make important resource decisions that apply corporate and account team resources to new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a highly effective sales team

  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and forecast accurately expected revenues by quarter

  • Work closely with Trend Micro Canada BU leadership team

  • Sales strategy development, including market trends, sales plans aligned with company goals, new business opportunities, and target accounts within the region.

  • Work closely with Canada operations on pricing strategy and approvals

  • Help shape channel and marketing initiatives to increase regional sales

  • Customer relationship with key customers and stakeholders in the region, being a customer advocate, providing feedback to product management, support organization, and other internal Trend Micro teams

  • Coordinate sales enablement and training for your regional sellers, customers, and partners.

  • Sales performance monitoring, tracking, and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management on regional sales performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of measured Success in building out sales teams in the Enterprise segment

  • Proven experience in sales management in the industry

  • Strong track record in various sales roles is a plus, including exposure and experience in the enterprise and/or global market-customer space

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • BA/BS degree in sales or marketing is preferred

  • Knowledge of market dynamics and competitive landscape.

  • Strong communication and phone skills are required

Trend Micro Canada is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is CAD $230,000.00 – $250,000.00. A candidate’s final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors to include, but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
