We are in search of an experienced individual who can lead multiple teams as well as take on the challenge of growth within our organization. 
This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible role working Days.

In this role, you will provide leadership and support to communities in a diverse market for identified site locations. You will also be accountable for the direction and business results of the sites including culture creation, financial growth, quality outcomes, employee relations and development, customer service, government relations and compliance. In this role, you will anticipate future business and financial opportunities and participate in the development of initiatives and actions to respond to those opportunities. You will also work with subsidiary boards of directors and affiliates as needed. You will deliver on performance improvement and assist in developing leaders in achieving desired results that align with the site and organizational strategic goals.
As a Regional Director of Operations, you will primarily be responsible to work with Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living and or Memory Care sites in Minnesota, Iowa, and/or North Dakota. Traveling between facilities is required as well as regular trips to the home office in Edina, MN.
Regional Director of Operations (RDO) responsibilities:

  • Engage interdisciplinary local and home office leadership teams to enhance each site's culture and ensure alignment with Cassia's service standards.
  • Promote an environment that fosters creative thinking, problem solving and empowerment in the development of the sites' management teams. Complete initial assessment of potential residents.
  • Support the site leader's orientation and career growth as well as assist with ongoing development of the site team members. 
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations, Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer to analyze financial performance of operations against targets, ensure appropriate business systems are in place and directs interventions to drive desired results. 
  • Work with Cassia resources to evaluate the markets served and to develop marketing and sales strategies that respond to local and regional market needs and enhance financial performance.
  • Ensure that site leaders understand the principles of effective recruitment and retention strategies and that those strategies are executed appropriately.
  • Guide site leaders to understand company site leaders to understand company expectations for customer satisfaction and that the tools and training are in place to meet those expectations.
  • Work with the sites to receive adequate and appropriate consultation from resources and that action plans are developed and executed to respond to issues identified.
  • Create accountability for consistent regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure that all site locations and assets of the Company are maintained in a manner that promotes quality of care, quality of life, a safe environment and protection of the assets.

Regional Director of Operations (RDO) job requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in senior housing/SNF required.
  • Must have previous experience as an Administrator for Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Assisted Living and possess a current MN and/or IA license for the role Pending site assignments, may be required to obtain additional SNF and/or AL state licensures within 12 months of starting this position.
  • BA or BS in related field required.
  • Extensive knowledge in SNF, AL, IL, and Memory Care required.
  • Ability to work independently with flexible hours and travel to multiple locations.
  • Experience in multi-facility oversight strongly preferred.
  • Ability to effectively lead and coach staff to foster team orientated environments.
