General Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced production studio environment. This position acts as a central resource and point of contact for all questions relating to the studio and LAIKA. This position interfaces with executives, employees, and vendors including visitors and VIPs.
Job Functions
- Respond to inquiries and provide general studio and company information to callers, employees, visitors, and email inquiries.
- Support the completion of special projects and assignments.
- Update phone/voicemail lists and emergency response rosters.
- Greet visitors and give instructions regarding sign in procedures and security protocol.
- Schedule in-house meeting rooms and ensure setup and service requests are executed.
- Work closely with Production and executive assistants to coordinate and streamline daily requests.
- Contact vendors to troubleshoot any service-related issues.
- Assist in maintaining Admin Services’ studio presence through the creation and updating of content for our internal webpage and studio announcements.
- Assist with coordination of studio events and coordinate local transportation for clients and staff.
- Keep the lobby and conference rooms organized and presentable.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience as a receptionist in a fast-paced front office or equivalent experience in customer service.
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to screen incoming calls.
- Ability to prioritize based needs of the studio.
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy work environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Suite.
