Brown & Brown is seeking a Receptionist to join our growing team in Westchester, NY.

Reporting to the Accounting & Operations Leader, the Office Assistant (Front Desk Administrator) position primary responsibilities involve general reception duties while projecting a positive attitude and professional image to all clients, visitors and team members, including but not limited to telephone switchboard, incoming/outgoing mail, logging and depositing incoming checks, scanning documents, ordering supplies, assuring all machinery is working and maintained [i.e. copiers, postage machine, scanners] and other duties as required.

How You Will Contribute

  • Answering phones, routing callers, taking and delivering messages.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks as needed.
  • Create a daily check deposit log of any checks received and deposited by the
  • agency.
  • Order and maintain all stationery and other supplies for the office
  • Assist Accounting team with reporting and other entry-level duties
  • Be familiar with and follow agency E&O guidelines.
  • Perform special projects at Managers request.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

  • Must be experienced in using the internet and utilizing online systems
  • Ability to navigate MS Office/Excel
  • Proven ability to multitask and operate under time constraints
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Associates or Bachelors in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
  • Previous Experience in Insurance Industry (preferred)
  • AMS experience (preferred)

Pay Range

$20.00 - $25.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
