Quotation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quotation Specialist to support our warehouse storage services, logistics services, and enterprise server and network configuration operations. This role involves preparing accurate and competitive quotes, analyzing costs, maintaining quotation tools and processes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and profitable proposals. The ideal candidate has experience in logistics, IT hardware devices and their configuration, cost estimation, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This position requires up to 10% travel and may include travel to trade shows and conferences for training and experience building.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotes for warehouse storage, logistics, and IT configuration services, ensuring accuracy and profitability. 
• Prepare Service Briefs and Statements of Work outlining the scoped services. 
• Manage quote request tracking tools to guide requests through the quotation process. 
• Develop and maintain related metrics. 
• Collaborate with other Foundry teams to drive quotes to completion. 
• Analyze scope, labor costs, and operational expenses to create competitive pricing models. 
• Collaborate with the client team, logistics, and production teams to validate service costs and timelines. 
• Ensure all quotes align with company pricing strategies, service agreements, and industry standards. 
• Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer needs and develop customized proposals. 
• Communicate with clients when required to clarify service requirements, timelines, and pricing options. 
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, customer interactions, and pricing structures. 
• Maintain tools used to estimate cost and price, establish process and best practices. 
• Follow up on outstanding quotes and assist in closing business opportunities. 
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, engineering, sales, and operations teams to confirm capacity and service feasibility. 
• Work with engineering to assess technical requirements for server and network staging projects. 
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 
• 3+ years of experience in quoting, estimating, or pricing logistics, warehouse storage, or IT staging services. 
• Experience in warehouse storage, logistics, or IT configuration services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop accurate cost estimates. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, quoting software, and ERP systems. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Knowledge of enterprise server and network hardware is a plus.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
