The Opportunity:
We are looking for a South American leadership role in Training and Development with extended background in industrial environment. You will be the main driver for the deployment of the ITM Academy (Integrated Transformer Management), in training management systems and large-scale training programs and set a stabile ground with onboarding and leadership training.
You have a continuous improvement mindset, excellent communication- and facilitation skills to serve you when you collaborate across all levels of the organization. This is a new role with strong mandates and full support from top management.
You will be required to travel within South America up to 25% in this role.
How You´ll Make the Impact:
- Develop improved Training management strategy and systems to track, monitor and measure the effectiveness of training courses-tools.
- Develop effective training materials utilizing Adult Learning methodologies and ensure Trainer capabilities to deliver effective trainings.
- Manage training, development and onboarding programs for leaders and manufacturing workforce across South America.
- Assess current state and recommend improved training solutions to achieve optimum employee performance and development.
- Collaborate with functions across the organization, e.g. global leadership team, business leaders, HR Business Partners to identify training and development structure.
- Build organizational capability, drive accountability, and increase employee engagement through ITM system implementation.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree with several years of experience in training leadership in program design, learning and development.
- Strong industrial background experience.
- Experience in leadership with ability to drive continuous process improvements and connect solutions to business needs.
- Experience working in a fast paced, continually changing, matrixed environment.
- Lean management system experience and driving organizational transformation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; self‐motivated and disciplined to meet deadlines, lead, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
