Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates and coordinates the work of multidisciplinary teams to lead them to successful projects in terms of performance focused on quality.
Participation in techniques and methodologies such as: Problem Solving, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement techniques and/or methodologies that contribute to cost saving projects.
Tracks and reports progress and improve floor results of quality indicators, IPPM, PPM, FTQ, COQ, FTT, SCRAP, etc. in a comprehensive manner.
Training of personnel (direct / multi-disciplinary team) in quality tools and systems.
Continuous support in production areas to increase efficiency by focus on defect reduction.
Maintains and updates corrective action list including deliverables, start and completion dates and corrective actions.
Identify and communicate barriers or difficulties in a timely manner and when required, so the process owners can provide support.
Implement the enabling environment and the necessary mechanisms to stimulate the continuous search for improvement ideas to be implemented.
Follow-up and maintenance of established QOS, Quality Controls and Customer complaints.
SCOPE & IMPACT:
Provides leadership and functional support to all employees and management teams related to quality issues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 – 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Experience in Industrial engineer, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar.
Leadership and problem-solving skills that demonstrate interpersonal skills and ability to exert influence without authority.
Microsoft office intermediate.
English intermediate proficiency.
Up to 15% Travel Required.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Proper training in Problem Solving (8Ds, CAR, PDCA)
Training in Core Tools (Control Plan, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
Desirable certification in Six Sigma.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct reports. (Quality inspectors, leaders, etc ILH)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment. Must have the ability to walk short and long distances in production floor and warehouses.
