As a Quality Control Engineer at Müller's Solutions located in Estonia, you will be pivotal in maintaining our commitment to excellence in product quality and performance across the Northeastern Europe region. In this role, you will implement quality control protocols, oversee product inspections, and work collaboratively with diverse teams to ensure that our standards are met at every stage of production.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply quality control processes to monitor product quality at various stages of production.
- Perform thorough inspections and tests on materials and finished products to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Identify quality issues and collaborate with production teams to develop effective solutions.
- Document inspection outcomes, maintain quality records, and generate reports for management review.
- Analyze quality metrics to uncover patterns and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to recommend adjustments to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and industry benchmarks.
- Deliver training sessions on quality standards and processes to team members.
- Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and testing procedures.
- Execute manual and automated test plans to ensure software quality.
- Identify and report bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA,Bugzilla).
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Automate repetitive testing tasks using tools like Selenium,Cypress, or Appium.
- Maintain test environments and provide detailed documentation of test results.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality control or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and principles such as Six Sigma.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- A proactive approach towards identifying issues and implementing lasting solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey quality standards to diverse teams.
- Familiarity with Eastern European quality standards and regulations will be advantageous.
- Proficient in quality inspection tools and software.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Proficiency in quality testing software and tools.
- Experience working with international teams or in a multinational environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies(manual and automated).
- Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, JIRA, or Postman.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in Agile development environments.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
