Job Summary :

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in functional and non-functional testing across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in test case development, test data management, and defect tracking using Jira. A strong understanding of testing methodologies, business requirements, and analytical thinking is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform functional, non-functional, UI, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.
• Identify, report, and track defects using Jira or other bug-tracking tools.
• Conduct web and mobile application testing, ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to analyze requirements and identify test scenarios.
• Perform load testing, performance testing, and browser compatibility testing using tools like JMeter.
• Ensure database validation and data integrity through SQL-based database testing.
• Conduct acceptance testing to validate software meets business requirements.
• Provide clear and concise bug reports, including steps to reproduce, severity, and expected outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in QA processes and test documentation.
• Assist in automating repetitive test cases (if applicable) to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, UI, regression, integration, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Jira for test and defect management.
• Experience with test case design and execution.
• Good understanding of load testing and performance testing using JMeter.
• Experience in browser compatibility testing across different devices and browsers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Java (optional but preferred).
• Familiarity with database testing and SQL queries.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment with cross-functional teams.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
