Description:
We are seeking talented Quality Assurance - Engineer to join our team. Our team’s primary responsibility is to develop and maintain applications specific to Wealth Consulting business. QA position will be a part of the global testing team for the wealth management application and will be primarily responsible for creation and execution of test plans to assure the soundness of the software.
THE ROLE & YOUR MISSION

Verify the correctness and assure the quality of the investment management software.

Having working knowledge of automation tools like – WebDriverIO (WDIO) using JavaScript/TypeScript;
-
Independently write and execute manual & automation test cases.

Report conclusions on the quality of the software being tested and provide input to Leads/ Management
-
Usage of Automated testing tools like WebDriverIO (JavaScript/TypeScript);

Having working knowledge of Protractor is an added advantage;

Understanding of CI/CD concepts with Jenkins/GitHub Actions;
-
Having skills of Designing Automation framework from scratch;

Adaptable communicator, facilitator, influencer, and problem solver;

High attention to detail with Ability to multi-task and prioritize time effectively;

Good relationship skills, proven ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team;
YOUR EXPERIENCE & VALUES
-
4+ years of relevant testing (Manual +Automation) experience in the IT industry;
-
Exposure to Agile Scrum methodology;
-
Good Coding skills in WDIO (WebDriverIO) using JavaScript/TypeScript a MUST;

Strong GIT experience along with basic understanding of CI/CD concepts with Jenkins/Git Actions;

Knowledge on API automation testing & Good exposure in writing effective and meaningful Gherkins;

Ability to work within Agile development environment, with working knowledge of JIRA/ADO;
-
Proactive, Clear, precise, and logical problem-solving approach;

Demonstrate very strong analytical skills with ability to understand functioning of large & complex applications;

Work closely with other QA analysts, developers and BAs on defect isolation, reporting, and resolution;
-
Managing requirements and delivering optimal solutions within the constraint of time;
-
Proficient in formulating product test strategies throughout the product release/sprint life cycle;
-
An effective communicator with polished interpersonal, problem solving and analytical abilities;

Good experience on framework setting up robust framework & best QA practices across various squads;

Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality;

Excellent communications skills with working knowledge of agile practices (scrum);

Adaptability to learn new skills & working knowledge of PODs and SQUAD model;
