The purpose of this role within the global business technology systems (BTS) team is to ensure a disciplined and structured approach to end-to-end software development by defining, preparing, and executing comprehensive test cases across various test phases. The primary focus will be on Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and integration software builds, ensuring seamless functionality, data consistency, and system interoperability.


Key testing phases include, but are not limited to:

Component Testing: Verifying individual software components to ensure they function as expected in isolation.

Systems Integration Testing (SIT): Validating interactions between CRM, ERP, and other integrated systems, ensuring data accuracy and seamless workflows across platforms.

Performance Testing: Assessing the system’s responsiveness, scalability, and stability under varying loads, particularly in high-volume transactional environments.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Supporting business stakeholders in validating that the system meets operational requirements and is ready for deployment.


Role Responsibilities

  • Define, document, and execute detailed test cases and expected results for CRM, ERP, and integration software projects.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify test requirements and ensure full coverage of business processes.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing across multiple platforms, verifying data integrity and system interoperability.
  • Track, document, and manage defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support automation initiatives by contributing to the development of test scripts for regression and performance testing.
  • Ensure testing aligns with industry best practices, compliance standards, and business objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing the testing process within an agile development framework.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations, and data flows, along with a proactive approach to software quality assurance.

Role Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of applications and databases
  • User acceptance testing with clients
  • Jira and Test Management Tooling
  • JavaScript test frameworks - e.g. TestCafe, Cypress and Playwright
  • Load and performance testing - Apache Bench, wrk, or similar
  • API testing and exploratory testing, experience with PostMan
