Activities
- Support and implement QAD suite of applications across different sites.
- Research and recommend process improvement solutions, ensure efficiency and currency of the established procedures to achieve optimum performance levels for the manufacturing Operations.
- Support the Problem Management process and serve as a channel of communications among the manufacturing sites, Support Groups (Applications & Vendors) and Management
- Assists in planning the deployments and configuration changes to current production environment
- Presents various metrics to management and proposes continuous improvement ideas.
- Escalates the incidents/problems as required
- Co-ordinate the changes that span across multiple applications with respective application owners
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Responsible for ensuring agreed service levels are maintained and reported to both local management and global IT management
- Ensures systems and procedures are compliant with appropriate legislative requirements, i.e. Data Protection Act
- Operates across multiple plants and multiple units
