The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the Quality Assurance department and employees. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality and reliability testing for the Company’s products and/or development processes. The QA Manager will oversee the quality processes and standards to ensure that the Company’s products meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
This position is on-site at our facility located in Batavia, OH.

You will ...
- Create and implement policies and procedures for Quality Assurance
- Ensure all operations are aligned and in compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies
- Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department
- Manage the Quality Assurance team, including training, providing guidance and feedback
- Communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team, engineering, and all other cross-functional teams
- Identify and analyze defects, issues, trends, and areas for improvement; recommend and facilitate solutions
- Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability before delivery
- Lead the development and execution of Corrective Actions and Nonconformance Reports, ensuring timely resolution
- Ensure that products and services meet customer expectations and manage quality-related complaints
- Perform internal audits to maintain compliance and prepare for external inspections
- Lead in the preparation and execution of customer and regulatory audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet the required standards
- Manage vendor quality assurance processes, vendor surveillance, and document submittal review
- Coordinate and participate in product testing processes
You’ll have …
- 10 years’ experience in Quality Assurance management in a manufacturing environment
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Preferably qualification as a lead auditor per NQA-1
- Knowledge of nuclear industry standards including 10CFR50 App B, 10CFR21, ASME NQA-1, and ASME BPVC Sections III and VIII
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- The ability to lead projects and initiatives, and work collaboratively across teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably fabrication processes, including some of the following:
- Welding, cutting, electrical, HVAC, testing, and vendor oversight
- Preferably a certified weld inspector qualification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Prior ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience
