QA Engineer
Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high quality of Amadeus products, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver the planned testing activities within their Agile workstream. This includes working with Senior QA Engineers to promote best QA practices within the Product team, whilst creating and maintaining test automation scripts. We use a range of tooling to create a culture of continuous testing: Selenium, SpecFlow, C#, Jenkins, GitLab;
- Participate in a DevOps learning and collaborative culture (QA Guilds, Communities of Practice);
- Deliver non-functional test requirements: always test the full customer experience (stress, load, usability, security, scalability, security);
- Deliver testing strategies for new missions, ensuring alignment within the agile team;
- Build and maintain "on-demand" Quality reporting with JIRA and Xray;
- Use automated dashboards to share Key Performance Indicators;
- Coach Junior QA Engineers on QA best practices, specifically test automation and CI/CD tooling, to continuously improve the "Test First" mentality using the "Test Pyramid" theory.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, or evidence of relevant experience;
- Experience in Functional Tests and Automation Tests (Selenium, SpecFlow, C#, Jenkins, GitLab);
- Used to work with Agile methodologies;
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Git or other similar;
- Proficiency in English;
