Job Description

We, lookout for dynamic and open-minded individuals to join us as QA Engineers to work with Innovations (short-term) & Incubation projects.

This is a great opportunity to work in and across all areas of IFS products, focusing on end-to-end industry processes while helping to bring the innovation to life. From HCM to Inventory, Asset Management to Project management, CRM to CPM, including data, functionality, lobbies, reports, and interfaces the potential to grow is limited only by ambition and talent.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with expertise in manual and automated testing to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and report bugs, and ensure the overall stability and usability of our IFS Cloud applications.

Specifically, it will involve:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Design and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and usability.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using appropriate bug tracking tools.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that resolved defects do not reappear in subsequent releases.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, reproduce bugs, and provide detailed bug reports.
• Validate data integrity and accuracy in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
• Design and develop tools for Quality Assurance
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant qualification

Desirable:

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
• Tenacious, with a passion to get the job done.
• Strong background in Software Engineering and Quality Engineering 
• Proficient in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices
• Experience with bug tracking tools and knowledge of defect management processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Diligence and excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
