QA Engineer (Renewal Systems)

Our goal is to make our standardized platform services, including the Group's backbone payment processing technology, available to other business units of Dennemeyer as well as to market them to external customers worldwide through integration with their platforms, web and software applications.
As part of our Dennemeyer Innovation business unit, you become member of our IP Core System Team including the following responsibilities: Define test scenarios based on requirements specifications, use cases and user stories, testing our payment solutions, support the development team as test and automate testing in order to deliver high quality solutions.

Your tasks:

• Active participation in the different development stages - from requirements engineering to release
• Definition of test scenarios based on requirements and use cases
• Ability to analyze test results and identify patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios and
  compile detailed reports
• Create documentation of test scenarios
• Test automation, TDD, BDD, integration in the CI/CD infrastructure
• Regression testing before release
• Non-functional testing
• Exploratory testing
• Documentation of defects / bugs and follow up on the resolution
• Learn the business of Intellectual Property and our products

Your profile:

• Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• Experienced with different testing frameworks for unit testing, integration testing and UI testing
• Motivated and a quickly learning new technologies
• Proven experience in agile software development practices like Scrum
• Ability to read code (preferably C#)
• Basic programming and scripting skills
• SQL knowledge is considered an asset
• Proven experience in agile software development practices like Scrum
• Familiarity with the Intellectual Property industry is considered an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management, self-organized, problem-solving and attention to details
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German and/or French is considered as an asset
