About our Team
The Publishing Support team supports the general business operations by providing various administrative support activities as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines in the Administrative Services.
About the Role
The Publishing Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Education, Reference, and Continuity books organization for specific tasks during the content development process.
Responsibilities

The coordinator will also support the business by providing adequate reporting on activity status per project.

Setting up manuscript submission sites for book titles, obtaining and uploading previous edition files where available; monitoring, chasing and securing contributor agreements for multi-contributed (edited) works.

Coordinating peer review of manuscripts, from securing email addresses, to issuing invitation and reminders, to sending peer reviews to editorial for their action.

Working in close collaboration with the book’s editorial teams, Global reporting, and Books Data and information management teams

Meeting established turnaround times for specific steps for each support activity.
Requirements

Ability to build, strengthen and maintain positive professional relationships.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the subject.

2 – 4 years relevant experience, experience in a publishing environment is a distinct advantage

Lots of energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for negotiating and closing deals.

A thorough understanding of the world of research and an affinity with its key players.

An independent, strategic, and results-driven mindset, with a high level of attention to detail, as well as a customer-focused approach.

Excellent verbal and written English communications skills.
