The role and responsibilities
Reporting to the Public Affairs Director, your functions will be:
- Execution of institutional relations, public affairs and corporate communication strategies for various clients.
- Political and sectorial intelligence mapping for different audiences.
- Monitoring and analysis of institutional and regulatory activity.
- Preparation of reports, briefings and messaging.
- Client account management.
- Relationship with clients and stakeholders.
- Participation in the development of projects and new proposals.
Desired attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree, postgraduate studies or specific training related to public affairs (e.g. institutional relations, political communication, public management, law...).
- 2-3 years' experience in communication agency with public affairs focus, public affairs department, parliamentary and/or governmental environment, political or governmental press offices or similar work environments.
- Knowledge of the Spanish political-parliamentary functioning as well as knowledge about the regulatory and political context.
- High level of spoken and written English (C1) is a must.
- Knowledge and experience in social media strategy and management.
- Strong client focus and flexibility to work in dynamic, diverse and inclusive environments.
- Creative, problem-solving and results oriented.
