As a Propulsion system Expert, you will play a key role in providing technical support to our internal stakeholders related to all aspects of maintenance activities, troubleshooting & improvement initiatives on the installed propulsion systems in our fleet and there direct related systems. Mainly through maintenance plans are set-up and prepared through workorders in our asset management system ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standard and reliability with a long-term vision. Additionally, extending your external network of suppliers & service providers will be key for expanding your knowledge.Your responsibilities

Technical role and support in your expertise field to internal stakeholders.

External SPOC between suppliers & repair facilities.

Internal SPOC towards stakeholders in work preparation.

Keep-up with new developments in the field of propulsion for our vessel types.

Setting-up standards for maintenance of propulsion equipment and related systems.

Setting-up standards for cost effective repairs of propulsion equipment and related systems.

Technical input for FMEA and RCA done by our Reliability department.

Ensure all work preparations are prepared with safety in mind.
Your profile

Engineering degree in a relevant field like electromechanics or maritime engineering.

5yr Experience in marine propulsion systems and maintenance

Technical knowledge & background.

Pro-active, team player & good communicator.

Innovation driver & solution oriented.

Willing to travel abroad , 80% Head quarter based – 20% visiting vessels.
