About the role:
LRN is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing global Translations Team. This role will be responsible for managing partners along with the management of multiple projects for a variety of business segments, and industries. We are seeking a professional who is collaborative, has a passion for managing people, projects, and partners, creative with a keen interest in eLearning and is focused and commercially astute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience of working with Human & Machine translations
- Experience of co-ordinating with different translators, linguist, language leads; in summary worked closely with the team that creates and delivers translations to different clients.
- Should be able to contribute in various strategic decisions around using translations vendors, reducing translations cost by not impacting the quality, any best practices…etc.
- Should Manage the entire project life-cycle of multiple localization projects in a fast – paced environment by monitoring project status.
- Negotiate rates and project timeline with various vendors.
- Maintain excellent relationship with translations vendor and internal team members.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation.
- Prepare a project plan per project with detailed schedules
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, are of high quality and within budget
- Ensure partners are happy with project deliverable's
- Communicate effectively with partners and other project stakeholders
- Track projects against the plan and report accurately on same
- Manage and motivate team members
- Manage multiple projects in parallel
- Minimum three years of Project Management experience
- Should have experience working on Translation management systems and understanding translation memory and the best way to manage it
- Hands-on experience on translations tools like – Trados or any other translations management tool
