Senior Project Manager Description 
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and mentoring multiple Project Managers and senior level project management services assigned. 

Responsibilities 

•    Direct and manage project development and program management from beginning to end. 
•    Chair meetings, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and Walgreens needs are met 
•    Communicate clearly/adequately at all levels within Walgreens 
•    Provide program management for multiple sites and states 
•    Manage every aspect of the development process including consultants, general contractors, vendors, specialty contractors, budgets, internal departments, and developers 

•    Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables 
•    Plan and schedule project timelines 
•    Set and continually manage project expectations with team members 
•    Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel 
•    Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions 
•    Oversee all due diligence functions 
•    Budget development, forecasting, and management 
•    Deliver outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to Walgreens’s needs 

•    Act as the primary senior level contact with Walgreens throughout the duration of the program. 

•    Guide the Walgreens team through the design implementation process including conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documentation and signoff. 

•    Develop procedures for distribution, receipt, opening, levelling and award of projects and services. 

•    Facilitate initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, key stakeholders and external users to ensure responsibilities are efficiently, accurately and effectively communicated and understood by all concerned. 

•    Resolves high level conflicts by making broad decisions, or negotiating with affected senior management 

Requirements 

•    B.S. or B.A. Degree 
•    Min 9 years of comprehensive PM experience; 5 years retail /building/development/construction project management experience 

•    Proven experience (5 years) in managing people 
•    Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to Walgreens and team to achieve project goals 
•    Experience with full project life cycle from planning through facilities maintenance. 

•    Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and space planning concepts. 

•    Highly organized with strong analytical and time management skills. 
•    Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level within Walgreens as well as external team members (architects, contractors, Walgreens’s representatives, etc.). 

•    Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change orders.

Salary Range: 90-95K
 

Pay Range:

72,000.00 - 108,000.00
