Sub Project Manager - Whitehaven - Permanent / Contract (inside IR35)
Your Future Team:
🚀 Assystem is a powerhouse in the nuclear decommissioning sector, partnering with the Design Services Alliance and providing top-tier waste management services to key nuclear clients in the UK. Our expertise also spans life extension and feasibility assessment services.
Your Missions:
As a Project Manager, you'll craft project execution strategies and lead a dynamic, cross-functional team to deliver projects safely, adhering to company policies and achieving established goals and objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
🔹 Delivering Excellence: Ensure work meets or exceeds project baseline cost, schedule, and quality requirements, always prioritizing safety.
🔹 Co-ordination Mastery: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of work scope delivery.
🔹 Strategic Execution: Develop and execute effective strategies and plans in line with overall project goals.
🔹 Reporting & Performance: Provide accurate, timely updates on project status, activities, and performance.
🔹 Risk Mitigation: Identify risks and implement effective strategies to mitigate them.
🔹 Effective Communication: Maintain robust communication with the project team and stakeholders.
🔹 Documentation Production: Create key project documents, such as Work Specification Forms.

Qualifications
🎓 Industry Experience: Experience working on projects in the nuclear industry.
🎓 Project Management: Proven ability to manage delivery to cost and schedule.
🎓 Technical Expertise: Ideally, experience in control system delivery, though other engineering disciplines are welcome.
🎓 Project Lifecycle Knowledge: Understanding of the Sellafield project lifecycle.
🎓 Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with NEC3 contracts.
🎓 Professional Qualification: IPMA Level D (APM) professional qualification or equivalent.
🎓 Educational Background: Graduate degree in a relevant field.
