The Position:

As we expand and evolve our business, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager Professional to join our Digital Operations and Technology department.


As a Project Manager at Gurobi Optimization, you will be crucial in supporting different business functions and ensuring the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are on time and on budget, across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. 

What you will be doing?

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project management processes and procedures. 
  • Provide support to business stakeholders in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. 
  • Track project progress and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders and management. 
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are documented and followed up on. 
  • Manage project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and status reports. 
  • Identify and escalate project risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional department leaders todefine, prioritize, develop projects, and ensure alignment and integration of project activities. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the organization. 

What experience and qualifications should you have?

  • 8-10 years in a Project Management role.
  • Experience working in the Information Technology industry. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field. 
  • PMP certification or relevant certifications. 

What skills and abilities should you have?

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strong leadership, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
